Art: Ralph Ziman's Ghosts

These stunning pictures were created by artist and film-maker Ralph Ziman in response to international arms trade which has had such a huge impact in Africa.  Zeman photographed Zimbabwean street vendors wielding handmade replicas of AK-47s, adorned in traditional Shona style beading.  The colourful  beading accentuates the guns and enhances their prominence, showcasing the rise of violence in Africa.  For more pictures visit Ziman's website here.
