Culture: Chinese New Year in Hong Kong

Culture: Chinese New Year in Hong Kong
There are not a lot of cultural activities in Hong Kong, but one thing the Chinese take very seriously is Chinese New Year. Last weekend I took myself to a temple, and to the market in Victoria Park to see what all the fuss was about.  If you are living in Hong Kong I suggest you go and have a look.  There was everything from flowers, to orange trees, to kitsch horses on sale.  Even Winnie the Pooh had a stand. I am due to go back to the temple on Saturday to get some blessings for the new Callixto space.  You never know what will help!  The temple pictured below is in Tai Hang.
