These earrings are a reproduction of pre-colombian jewellery found in the Americas before the Conquistadors arrived. Much of the gold was melted and shipped back to Spain but what little survived can be found in the Museums of Pre-Colombian art in the region. These earrings take on pre-colombian elements and reassemble them into earrings.
