Photography: Fan Ho and the Hong Kong of Yesterday

Photographer Fan Ho has been taking pictures of Hong Kong since the 50s and 60s.  He recently revisited his archive of negatives and has published a series of pictures which layer different negatives to portray the Hong Kong of his memory.  The results are incredible emotive and beautiful.  I wish I had known that Hong Kong.  There is charm and character to Hong Kong that is sadly missing these days.  A book and some prints are available to buy on his website.  His instagram has some beautiful pictures as well.
