Fashion: Colourful Nails

Do you remember the days when having red nails was considered borderline vulgar - the marks of a somewhat loose woman?  The days when the only acceptable colour were shades of pink and red?  If like me you have always wanted to go a bit crazy with your nail colour but have never dared.. this is our chance.  Nails are having a bit of a moment right now. Everything seems to be acceptable - from silver to neon to multicolour.  A couple of years ago I went rogue and bought myself some neon coloured nail polish.  The response I got from all and sunder was that they looked "chav."  Clearly I was just ahead of time...
