Wanderlust: National Geographic Photo Contest

When I was a kid my father had a National Geographic subscription.  In my child's mind the arrival of the subscription was the first real evidence I had that a world existed outside of what I knew.  The National Geographic photo contest is on at the moment and I spent hours yesterday looking through the pictures submitted by contestants from all over the world.  I am 31 years old, have travelled more than most people, and looking through these pictures I am still astonished by how much there is still to discover on this most amazing Earth..
