Art: The Thunder, Perfect Mind

I have never understood the title of the poem "The Thunder, Perfect Mind."   Looking at the pictures by Mike Oblinksi of lighting and storms I think I understand a bit better.  The poem tries to put into words the elemental, the transcendental force that holds this world together.  And what is more forceful and elemental than nature at its fiercest.  I have been in NYC for the last week and although I didn't feel Hurricane Sandy hit the city I have felt the aftermath. No electricity or hot water for the last week.  Humans are no match against Nature at its fiercest.
